DEVOURS: The underground synth-pop project of Vancouver's Jeff Cancade (he/they). Fresh off a 2024 Polaris Music Prize longlist nomination for Homecoming Queen, Devours blends confessional, confrontational electronics with a high-energy "pseudo-goth" stage presence. Latest record Sports Car Era out 2025.

WANTS: Calgary's WANTS brings propulsive synths, analog melodicism, and the moody precision of classic new wave. Drawing from post-punk and early-'80s electronic sounds, their 2025 album In Plain Sight explores disconnection, intimacy, and survival with crystalline intensity.

Ringfinger: Vancouver darkwave duo Ringfinger (Hannah Dow-Kenny and Mason McMorris) treads the line between coldwave and ethereal post-punk. Inspired by vintage horror cinema and chilly Canadian winters, they blend swirling chorused guitars with expansive synthesizer textures and delay-drenched vocals. Their 2023 debut album, In A Black Frame, explores themes of tragic romance and the human psyche over a driving, mechanical heartbeat.
